STAGE 1-

The cycle starts every month when the womb makes a fresh layer of blood-rich membrane. Your body is preparing to accommodate the egg if it gets fertilized.

STAGE 2-

Ovulation is the next stage when an egg is released from the ovaries and travels to womb.

STAGE 3-

If egg meets a sperm on its way and fertilization takes place, you can become pregnant. If the fertilization process has not taken place, then the body will remove unused membrane from your womb in the form of bleeding that is known as periods.

STAGE 4-

The period cycle normally last from 3 to 7 days. You lose less than 20-60ml of blood.

All the stages form a repetitive period cycle every consecutive month unless you get pregnant or get menopause. Menopause occurs in period cycle after they reach forties and vary from person to person. It is the end of the reproductive cycle.
